OVERVIEW

Our Order Picker Training course is designed to equip operators with the knowledge and practical skills required to operate order picking trucks safely and confidently in busy warehouse and distribution environments.

Order pickers are commonly used in warehousing and logistics operations to allow operators to select and retrieve goods from different storage levels. Their specialist design means operators need to understand safe travelling, load handling, platform operation and working around racking, pedestrians and other workplace hazards.

Training combines theory and practical instruction, including pre-use inspections, controls and safety features, safe manoeuvring, load handling, picking and placing goods, working at height where applicable, emergency procedures and safe operating practices.

The course is suitable for novice operators, experienced but formally untrained operators, refresher and reassessment training, and conversion training for operators already trained on appropriate materials-handling equipment.

Training can be delivered on-site at your business premises using suitable equipment, allowing operators to train in an environment relevant to their normal workplace and operational requirements.
