OVERVIEW

Our Overhead Crane Training course is designed to provide operators with the knowledge and practical skills required to operate overhead cranes safely, confidently and efficiently within the workplace.

Overhead cranes are widely used in manufacturing, engineering, warehousing and industrial environments to lift and move heavy or awkward loads. Safe operation requires an understanding of crane controls, load handling, lifting accessories, safe working loads and the hazards associated with lifting operations.

The course combines theory and practical training, covering pre-use checks, safe lifting and travelling techniques, load control, hazard awareness and emergency procedures. Training can be tailored for novice operators, experienced operators requiring formal training and assessment, refresher/reassessment training, and suitable conversion training.
