OVERVIEW

Our Tow Tractor / Baggage Handler Training course is designed to equip operators with the knowledge and practical skills required to operate tow tractors and associated equipment safely and confidently in busy working environments.

Tow tractors are commonly used for towing baggage carts, trailers and other wheeled loads in environments such as airports, warehouses, distribution centres and industrial sites. Their operation requires good vehicle control, awareness of towing dynamics and an understanding of the additional risks created when manoeuvring with trailers or multiple loads.

The course combines theory and practical training, covering safe operation, pre-use checks, coupling and uncoupling, manoeuvring, load security, workplace hazards and safe towing practices. It is suitable for novice and experienced operators, as well as operators requiring refresher, reassessment or conversion training.
